Nancy Cohen
Nancy is a graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, with a BA in Economics. Her background includes 20+ years on Wall Street where she was an Institutional Fixed Income Salesperson, specializing in Mortgage Securities. Her career included working in Hong Kong, Tokyo, London, and New York selling mortgage securities to Central Banks, Hedge Funds, and other Institutions. Nancy worked at major firms including Drexel Burnham, Salomon Brothers, Kidder Peabody, and Lehman Brothers, where she was a Senior VP in the Mortgage Department. During the “second chapter” of her life, Nancy utilized her financial skills and became a loan originator at First Magnus (Great Southwest Mortgage). She then went on to specialize in reverse mortgages at Wells Fargo, and Sun Valley Financial., and Southwest Direct Mortgage. On a personal note, Nancy has lived at Scottsdale Ranch for over 20 years with her four-legged child, & loves swimming and hiking.

Joe Dawson
Joe applies his 3 decades of business experience including 20 years in the financial services industry in his role as a Certified Financial Planner and Investment Advisor. Specializing in assisting business owners as well as retired & semi-retired individuals, Joe works with international clients living a cross-border and ‘snowbird lifestyle’, (a forte he established as a dually licensed Financial Advisor in Canada and the US).
Joe believes that the dominant determinant of investment success is investor behavior and by coaching and nurturing the correct behavior, the clients he serves will be able to more adeptly reach their goals.
Active in his community, Joe served as a Member of The City of Scottsdale Board of Adjustment and as elected Director of The Scottsdale Ranch Community Association. An avid lifelong motorcycle and car enthusiast, Joe is also the Regional Coordinator of the BMW Motorcycle Association of America and founder of the BMW Social Club of Arizona the largest independent European Car Club in the State.

After many years in executive positions with healthcare, financial services, and insurance corporations, Nicole founded Gurley Long-Term Care Insurance in 2021.
Her past corporate experience contributes to her understanding of the need for long-term care expense planning as an integral component of comprehensive financial planning.
Nicole is licensed throughout the country, a certified continuing education provider and instructor, and a frequent guest speaker on long-term care expense planning. She holds the CLTC (Certification in Long-Term Care) designation and earned a BA in Management.

Emily has been practicing law since 1993. Emily B. Kile is a graduate of the Northeastern School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and holds a master’s degree in Psychology from Boston College. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), past President of the Arizona Chapter (2008), and a member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners and the Special Needs Alliance. She is a Fellow of the America College of Trust and Estate Attorneys. She is licensed to practice law in Arizona.
